A warrant has been issued for the arrest of former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson in Florida.

The warrant was issued May 7 in Broward County because Johnson violated several terms of his probation, according to the Broward Sheriff’s Office. The BSO said Johnson failed to meet with probation specialists on Feb. 15 and March 15. He also failed to show proof of enrollment and completion of the “Batterers Intervention Program.”

Famous porn star, Mr. Marcus (Marcus Spencer), was arrested in Hollywood this morning for drunk driving, according to TMZ.

After being seen swerving all over the road, the Urban X Award winner was pulled over around 2:30 AM in his Hyundai Elantra.

He was given a field sobriety test after authorities smelled alcohol in his car. He failed…miserably, and was arrested on the spot.

Mr. Marcus is currently being held in custody.

Last Friday (May 3), The U.S. Department Of Labor released its jobs report for the month of April, revealing positive gains in employment. With 165,000 jobs added in the month, the unemployment rate dropped to its lowest rate in four years. However, African-American and Hispanic job seekers are still the hardest hit groups with a rate of 13.2 and 9.0 percent, respectively. Lauryn Hill Sentenced To Jail For Tax Evasion!!

NEWARK, N.J. — Grammy-winning singer Lauryn Hill was sentenced Monday to three months in prison and an additional three months in home confinement for failing to pay about $1 million in taxes.

Hill, a 37-year-old South Orange resident, pleaded guilty last year in the case.

During a forceful statement to the judge Monday, Hill explained she had always meant to eventually pay the taxes but was unable to during a period of time when she dropped out of the music business, echoing a defense she wrote last year in a long post online.

“I needed to be able to earn so I could pay my taxes, without compromising the health and welfare of my children, and I was being denied that,” Hill said Monday, without explaining what exactly triggered her actions.

Thousands of people given assistance after Hurricane Katrina are now finding out that the federal government is taking some of that money back.

Rae Stampley is one of the people who survived Hurricane Katrina in 2005, but now owes money.

“We lost everything in the house. We got about 3 feet of water,” Stampley told Channel 2’s Wendy Corona.

Money from the Federal Emergency Management Agency helped him start over in Atlanta.

“They gave everyone $2,000 who applied and qualified,” he said.
