The Gemological Institute of America’s new 4C’s app is the only interactive tool that educates consumers on how to grade diamonds based upon color, cut, clarity, and carat weight, as well as pricing. It also allows you to explore the D-to-Z color scale, spot blemishes and inclusions, and compare sizes. Additional features include the “My Diamond Wish List,” which lets you keep track of the diamonds you’ve seen, and an interactive GIA Grading Report Anatomy, which helps you better understand what can be a very confusing diamond grading system. And ladies even if you already have the ring, you can use the app to distinguish what you’re wearing as well as trace it back to its original dealer.
