I, like many other DirecTV customers, was surprised to see my favorite television stations including BET, VH1, and Comedy Central absent from my normal channel line up. I proceeded to turn on my TV and was shown, to my dismay, Mr. Mike White (DirecTV CEO) giving me an explanation as to where my shows were:

I was crushed… I don’t watch a lot of TV, but when I do get the chance to keep up with what’s going on in the music world outside of the internet, BET, MTV, and VH1 are the ones I turn to. Mr. White says that switching networks is not the answer and an agreement will be met soon. I hope he’s right because I’m sure Comcast is sounding like music to customers ears right about now.
