I love chocolate as much as the next person but it doesn’t always love me back. Especially when I get on the scale and the number is NOT where I need it to be. Show your sweetie how much you care about their health with treats that won’t give him (or her) a reason to hit the gym a little harder next week. Make a them fruit basket. Fruit is just as sweet as candy and is a great way to watch your waistline. Edible Arrangements does a great job making a delightful presentation of fruits for reasonable prices. You could also plan an day for just you and your significant other, full of outdoors activities such as biking or walking that will give you one-on-one time together as well as burn a few calories. And if you must have chocolate, go dark. It’s a lot better for you than milk or white chocolate. Nothing tops a happy heart, emotionally and physically!
