Lupe Fiasco has always put out DOPE tracks that have an underlying message. “American Terrorist Part 2″ is no different. We really need more conscious hip hop artists like him to make people aware of what is going on around them. Apparently with the state of hip hop now, Lupe has decided that Food and Liquor II, his next album, may be his last. He tweeted that “…its been a pleasure to have all my fans provide so much love and inspiration for me and my family.” He goes on to say, “but my heart is broken and i see no comfort further along this path only more pain. I cannot participate any longer in this…My first true love was literature so i will return to that…lupe fiasco ends here.” It’s sad to see him go. Hopefully he’ll have a change of heart. Food & Liquor II will be available in stores and online September 25th.
